Character Spotlight:
Miranda
Miranda is an 11-year-old girl with a mysterious past. A lot of things are unknown about her, even to her herself, but she knows in her heart that she wants to Love and to be
Loved. She detests romance but enjoys food (especially spinach and potatoes) and talking about food and will probably ramble on about food or any random topic unprovoked if
allowed. Being physically adept, she is a natural when it comes to fighting, dodging, and climbing, relying on her sight and reflexes to get her through any situation.
"What is this feeling...?"

I think I always liked stories, but I never thought I'd write or anything, (at the time, I saw myself more as an engineer), but when I was assigned a creative-writing
assignment for my homeschool lit. class, well, I pulled up Notepad on my laptop, went to work, and literal hours passed by as I wrote and wrote and wrote! And I finished,
realized what I had just done, (I LOVED it), watched as people gaped at how long my story was, (haha), and well, the rest is a story in and of itself. ;3
My writing style is all about themes. It's very dialogue heavy and character-driven, (I love my characters a lot!), placing heavy emphasis on themes and messages. The whole
"point" of a story. Atmosphere, good misty, hazy, mysterious atmosphere is something I crave, and try to whisk that into my writings as well, and I always Love a mystery or
two, or maybe 27. I've also been inspired by many forms of storytelling, from video games and anime, (2d animation is the best!), to TV shows, music, art, and yes, books too.
With all these different ideas I want to do, it's hard to fit into a single genre, which is why my writing can be a bit all over the place, (but you know, the good kind). ;P
There's more to my writing style too, but you'll just have to read my writings to find that out, hehe!
Reading is hard. I know. As someone who reads slow on average, I know it can take someone a lot of time to get through a book, plus the effort too! Fiction is powerful,
necessary and powerful. It has the ability to give Love, and also hurt too. I know. When someone chooses to read a book, they are giving the author the benefit of the doubt,
they're trusting that the author can and will write a good story. I know, and I don't want to waste your time. I'll do my best. So, if you do give me and my
Writings a chance, thank you! I hope you get value out of it.
That's all I want.
