Update Log

Hi, hi! Welcome to my final update log! Eh, well, probably final update log. I'll be brief because I'm a bit tired, well, I'll try to be brief, but knowing me,
this will probably be really long against my will, and I'm already talking too much so I should probably get to it shouldn't I and stop going on about how long—
I haven't been managing the website for a long time, but it's been a sort of crazy summer. I've started a YouTube channel, started a Tumblr blog, and now am going
to discontinue my Bluesky account as well as these update logs. I'll touch on Bluesky first.
It's just not fun. Bluesky is really draining and doesn't seem to be helping me much either. I think I've made some mistakes with it too, and I think the best
thing for me to do right now is to scrap it for now. This means I won't be posting to it anymore, and I will probably be deleting it soon too. There's a chance
depending on how the future goes of me making a fresh new account, but for now, if you want updates, check the website every now and then. You might find a
surprise or two, haha!
Speaking of the website, I will no longer be doing update logs. As you can see, I'm not really fond of writing these things anyways, so I may as well not do them.
This will mark the final update logs, but I will make an archive portion of the website so you can still view these. In place of them, the Extra page for the
website will now host a place for me to post teasers of whatever I'm doing. These teasers could be in the form of an image, or whatever I choose for the future.
So, check the Extra page once and a while, something new might be waiting for you! ;o
On other news, I made a YouTube channel! I think I mentioned this before previously already, but I'm saying it again haha. I'm also posting other things besides
just the audiobook there. So, if you want to get a feel for other stories I like, and want to talk about/stories similar to my writing, check it out! I have a lot
of fun making videos, and sometimes I even practice character scenarios with them as well! So, if you want more of my writing, it'll be there too! Have fun! ^-^
Finally, a Tumblr! Finally I am no longer constricted to a 300-character limit, (I'm looking at you Bluesky...). Anyways, if you want more content and more of my
writing, it'll be there too! In addition, if you have any questions for me or for my characters, you can use the Ask feature on Tumblr!
That's about it. A lot of stuff is changing, and I might have not mentioned everything, but just know, I'm still writing! Like I'll ever stop haha. Stay safe,

Hi, Hey, Heyo!! ^-^ It's your favorite author, S. A. Kupenda, back with another Update Log—! Huh? What? I'm... not your favorite author...? ;-; Heh, well,
I'm about to be...because I! yes, that's me, I! am publishing the audiobook version of A Lie of a Life!! Yes, yes, you don't need to thank me. In fact, the
Prologue is out, so you can start listening to it now—!
Hm? You can't find it? It's not on Audible or Scribd or any of those platforms? Oh, well, no, it's not.
It's on YouTube.
Ok, ok, I can see the strange looks on all of your faces right now, so let me explain. Essentially, I did not want to go through Audible, and most of these
audiobook places want specific formatting, and all complicated stuff, and I wanted to voice act the thing myself, and it seemed like a lot of trouble...
And then one day, I'm watching fanfiction, STAY WITH ME, so I'm watching Naruto fanfiction, I SAID STAY WITH ME, and the person is voice acting his writing and
uploading it to YouTube, and then I'm like, "Huh... why don't I upload the Audiobook to YouTube?" and that's how we got here.
That's like an oversimplified recount of the events. There's a lot more that went in to this decision, and here are the 3 BIGGEST factors to that decision:
- I know YouTube the best!
- My audience is on YouTube!
and... - I wanted it to be easy to access!
I know the concerns some of you might have with this route, but I really believe this is the right way for me to go. Besides, I'm an indie author, so I'm already
unconventional by nature. I'm also a multigenre author (whose book has a pillow fight scene along with psychological pain, torture, and suffering), so we were
bound to get wacky at some point. At the moment, all I have released is my recording of the prologue, Nightly Stars Before, but I will be releasing
the rest of the book episodically when I have them ready, sort of like how new anime episodes get released every week when airing, ...but mine won't be releasing
that fast... I'm not that good. >.<
Anyways, that's all I have for now. Check out the video on YouTube! I might post more than just recordings!

Hello! Welcome to another Update Log! Woah, woah! Ok, calm down. I know February has passed, BUT it's fine. I've come baring gifts!
You can now buy Writings, A Lie of a Life, from IngramSpark!
So, what about the other stuff? Well, I may have been a bit ambitious... You see, I don't have time.
Making the Website and publishing on IngramSpark already took a lot, but I also have other responsibilities to do,
so I'm gonna put everything on hold for the foreseeable future.
Right now, with publishing, I'll slow down with that for now. I'll still work on it behind the scenes, but it's not my focus.
These past few weeks made me realize that I really want to write, to create other things, so I'm going to focus on my passions for right now.

Update Log

Hello and welcome to my first Update Log! Today marks the publication of my author website sakupenda.com! It only took like 2 and a half years,
but I finally got around to it. Give it a round of applause. It's not really flashy looking, and it's definitely not modern, but it works, and it's charming,
and I like it a lot! It was so much fun to make!
Anyways, Update Logs will be a space on my website where I'll give various updates on anything relating to my author journey, Writingss and writings,
or the website. There's no schedule, so check back every so often, (probably monthly), to see what's there. There's not much else to say, so I'll be brief.
Now with the website done and dusted with, it's time to focus on other things.
Here is a list in order of importance!
- Publishing with IngramSpark so that you guys have another option to buy Writings other than Amazon. (This will happen really soon, like a-few-days soon, so stay tuned!)
- Getting Writings into local indie bookstores. I'll be prioritizing black-owned bookstores as well.
- Recording and publishing the audiobook version of A Lie of a Life. I don't know what platform I'll be using, but I'd like to use something other than just Audible.
- Editing and publishing the ebook version of A Lie of a Life. I need to do so in such a way as to keep the formatting and presentation of the book while also allowing as many accessibility features as possible.
- Looking at Goodreads, StoryGraph, and any other book reviewing platform and seeing if it would be good for me to be on it.
- Resting. This probably won't happen, but I'll try anyways.
Hopefully, I can get all this done by the end of February. It's going to be a busy time around here with all that we got planned, so expect to hear from me a lot this month. This is a lot,
but I can do this, and I'll try. If I don't try, nothing will happen, so I'll keep trying and push through!
